FAQ

1) How should I prepare for my appointment?

All furniture or other obstacles should be removed from the area to be serviced. General exceptions are couches and dining room table and chairs. These items will be wrapped in plastic by our techs and slid around as needed. For any special circumstances, please call our office to discuss the details.

2) Is debris disposal included?

In many cases, a dumpster will be needed on the premises for debris disposal. Our company can provide this service for a fee – please call our office for current pricing. If you have your own means of disposal, our techs will place the debris wherever you need them to at no extra charge.

3) How long should my project take?

Many projects can be done in one day! The duration of your project is determined by several factors: Square footage to be demoed, layout of the space and the flooring material to be removed. When you speak with our customer service representative for your quote, they will give you the time frame you should expect.

4) Do you remove flooring or pavers that are outside?

5) Do I have to be present during the removal process?

No. Our techs only need access to the jobsite. Frequently people leave keys for us or provide codes for lock boxes. Our techs will always lock up before they leave any property when the resident or the contractor in unavailable.

6) I've already removed my flooring, but there's still stuff I can't get up. Can you help?

Yes. Our techs will remove any bonding material left on your slab.

7) Do you guys install flooring?

No.

8) Can I rent or buy floor removal equipment from you?

No.

9) Is your company licensed and insured?

Yes.

10) What cities/counties does your company work in?

Our company travels and works throughout the state of Florida.

11) Does your company patch, level or otherwise prep my concrete for installation?

No. When we are done, the floor should be free of debris and in an unfinished state like a driveway. Your installer will access your slab and will determine whether or not any prep needs to be done based on the type of flooring that is being installed next.

12) Does your company do any other kind of demolition?

Not normally, however, we have been known to do additional demo on a case by case basis. For any special circumstances, please call our office to discuss the details.

13) Does your company cut concrete?

No.

14) What is your typical lead time for scheduling?

Due to the nature of the construction demo we do, our schedule in always in flux. Please contact our office for the most up to date scheduling options.
